GG Daily News:Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton in spotlight due to video from Tennessee game

Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton is in the spotlight as a recent video of him pushing Tennessee fans as he tries to make his way to the locker room, has surfaced. Earlier this season Tennessee upset Alabama, causing a sea of Tennessee fans to storm the field. After the game,Burton made his way to the locker room and was recorded pushing fans on the field out of his way as he approached the endzone. Nick Saban played Burton in last week's game and defended his decision not to punish his player. Saban ultimately said that every coach handels punishment and discipline differently and he does not think Burton's actions are a reflection of him as a person. He says Burton was scared by the events taking place on the field after the game and acted in a way that reflects it. However, he has assured that Burton is in a counseling program, to help with future instances.
